Why we built this
The modern job search is broken. Five tools, a spreadsheet, hours of copy-paste between ChatGPT tabs, a cover letter that nobody reads, an ATS that nobody understands, a follow-up that nobody remembers to send. Meanwhile, the gap between "I have the skills" and "I get the interview" keeps widening — not because candidates are weaker, but because the resume layer in between is the bottleneck.
We built ApplyVita to collapse that stack into a single conversation. Drop your resume, get a recruiter-grade rewrite in ten seconds, tailor it to a JD in twelve, run a STAR-scored mock interview before the real one, track everything in a board the agent maintains for you. One agent. One context. One memory that follows you across devices.
Built for every job seeker
Most career tools were designed around one market — a single set of headhunters, one Big-Tech rubric, one narrative of what “good” looks like. They're excellent at what they do. But hiring conventions aren't universal: career velocity, switching cadence, the weight given to certifications, the salary delta of a single recruiter ping — none of it travels cleanly from one market to the next.
So the agent adapts to yours. It tailors to the job description in front of it — whatever market it's from — scores against the rubric that JD implies, and prices in your local currency at checkout. One agent that meets you where you're actually applying, not where some template assumed you'd be.
What we believe
1. The agent should act, not just chat.
A copilot that suggests "consider rewriting this bullet" is doing 10% of the work. ApplyVita rewrites the bullet, shows you the diff, scores the new version, and lets you accept, edit, or roll back. Acts first, asks permission, doesn't make you babysit the workflow.
2. Your data is yours.
We don't sell it. We don't train on it. We don't share it. We don't ship third-party trackers. Two clicks in settings deletes everything. The public scorer on our home page never persists a single byte of your file.
3. The free tier should be actually free.
Score your resume, run rewrites, tailor to a JD, try the interview simulator. The only paywall is downloading the final PDF — and that's deliberate, because if our rewrites move your ATS score by twenty-plus points, the value transfer is obvious. Until then, we're happy for you to try everything.
4. Outcomes > aesthetics.
The pretty resume isn't the goal. The interview is. We optimise the rubric ATSes actually run on, the keywords recruiters actually search for, the STAR structure interviewers actually score against. The output also happens to look great.
