Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The free plan needs no card. You can upload a resume, see your full ATS breakdown, run rewrites, tailor against a job description, and try a mock interview before you ever pay. Downloading the polished PDF is what unlocks with a paid plan.
Do I have to install anything?
No. ApplyVita runs in your browser on any device — phone, tablet, or laptop. Your work syncs across all of them automatically.
Can I start from scratch instead of uploading?
Yes. You can build a resume from zero with the agent, or upload a PDF/DOCX and have it parsed into an editable, ATS-friendly structure in seconds.

How is the ATS score calculated?
On a four-component rubric: content completeness (quantified bullets and a strong summary), keyword density (industry keywords woven into your experience), formatting compliance (clean, parseable structure), and skills presentation. You see your overall score and each component, with the specific lines to fix.
Is the score accurate to real applicant tracking systems?
The rubric mirrors what real ATS and recruiters weight — quantified impact, relevant keywords, and clean formatting. It's a strong, deterministic proxy that moves as you improve; the in-product AI deep-dive gives a sharper, role-specific read on demand.
Will my resume stay ATS-safe?
Yes. Rewrites keep plain, parseable formatting — no tables, graphics, or tricks that break ATS parsing — while strengthening content and keywords.
How many templates are there?
A library of recruiter-tested templates you can switch between live, then export as ATS-safe PDF or DOCX on a paid plan.

How do mock interviews work?
Pick your target role and the agent runs a realistic mock interview — behavioral or technical — scoring every answer on the STAR rubric (Situation, Task, Action, Result) with specific, honest feedback so you improve before the real thing.
Can it find jobs for me?
On higher tiers, the agent searches live openings and reasons about role-fit against your resume — surfacing roles you should actually apply to, not just keyword matches.
Does it write cover letters and outreach?
Yes. It drafts cover letters that quote the job description back in your voice, plus cold emails and follow-ups to hiring managers and recruiters.

Is there a money-back guarantee?
Yes — a 7-day money-back guarantee on every paid plan. If it doesn't move your ATS score, you don't pay.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, in one click from your account. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
Which payment methods are supported?
Secure checkout via Razorpay (UPI, cards, and more for India) and standard cards elsewhere. We never see or store your full card details.
Privacy & security
Is my resume and data safe?
Your resume is yours. It's stored in your private, access-controlled document that only you can read. The public home-page scorer doesn't persist anything — the file is read once, scored, and discarded.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. You can delete your resume and account data from settings at any time. We're GDPR-aligned with SOC 2 controls in progress.
Do you sell my data?
No. We don't sell your personal data. Your information is used to power your experience, not to be resold.
