How to cancel Jobscan — and get a refund

Jobscan's refund window is unusually tight and it is worth knowing the exact shape of it: refunds are granted only if you dispute the charge within 2 calendar days of the billing period starting and you have not used the service during that period. There is also a processing fee deducted from any refund granted.
Cancelling itself is straightforward and can be done from your account page, but — as with most tools in this category — cancelling does not itself produce a refund. Everything below is quoted from Jobscan's own cancellation policy and support pages, with links.

How to cancel Jobscan
- If you're inside a trial, cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged at all — Jobscan's policy covers this case explicitly.
- If you're already a paying member, follow the cancellation instructions on your Account page.
- Your account then downgrades to a Free Membership after the current billing period ends — cancelling does not cut off access immediately.
- For a refund, email support@jobscan.co with the subject line "Refund Request", your reason, and your account email — and do it fast (see the 2-day window below).
After you cancel: Jobscan states that upon cancellation your account is downgraded to a Free Membership after your current billing period ends, and that cancellation does not issue refunds automatically.
Can you get a refund?
Refunds are granted only to Premium members who dispute the charge within 2 calendar days of the billing period starting and who have not used the service in that period. A 3.5% fee of the original payment is charged on refunds, and requests are decided case by case.

Jobscan states that free accounts get 5 scans per month, with the match report limited to searchability tips and a condensed skills list — formatting guidance, LinkedIn optimisation and the cover-letter tools sit behind Premium.
